We’；d like to welcome back Bonnie， the furniture makeover queen， and self-proclaimed craft nerd behind the blog Revolutionaries.？ Bonnie loves stenciling so she was super excited when we launched our new Holiday Stencil Collection.？ She commentedpersonalized gifts for girlfriend， “；Big news： they have a new Holiday Stencil Collection and they are oh-so-cute!”；？ After browsing the new collection she fell in love with our Reindeer Craft Stencil.？ She had the perfect project in mind for the this whimsical reindeer pattern.accent pillow case baby burlap living room deco
To start the DIY christmas stencil project， Bonnie gathered her materials and cleared her crafting station.？ Bonnie planned to create a large decorative ornament using the？Reindeer Craft Stencil， a piece of burlap， and a large embroidery loop.？ She placed the burlap flat and then positioned the stencil on top.？ She used blue painter’；s tape to hold it in place.
Bonnie poured her paint onto a small disposable plate.？ For this project， she used Jacquard Fabric Paint in Ruby Red.？ Then she used a dense foam roller to paint the pattern.
** Be sure to off-roll extra paint onto a piece of paper towel.？ The key to stenciling is using as little paint as possible.？ Too much paint will cause the design to bleed and smudge.
After the paint was dry， Bonnie placed the stenciled fabric in the embroidery hoop and made sure her design was centered.
To complete the ornament feel， Bonnie used a hot glue gun to adhere a top made out of card stock and glitter. Here is her adorable stenciled Christmas decoration!
Oh yeah， and Bonnie is hosting a free stencil ($50 value) giveaway on her blog.？ Make sure you enter!

Everyone has, at one point or another, found himself or herself carrying something around the store that they love, but don’t necessarily need. It’s easy to pick up an item on impulse and be drawn to its visual appeal without really considering what you would ever need it for.
It is my opinion that tables are most beautiful when kept simple. Actually, I apply this to most things in my life. I don't like a lot of stuff. Nick-knacks are not my friends. I think that creating a small, but carefully selected collection of items is much more welcoming than having heaps and heaps of things on a table. Plus sitting down at a table with a mound of pumpkins or gourds in your face makes dinner much less enjoyable than sitting across from a best friend and having great conversation with her.
